FAQS

Booking FAQs

  • Please contact me through the booking form and include as much detail as possible.

A signed contract and retainer fee are required for your date to be reserved.

  • For weddings I book 9-12 months in advance.
Special Occasion and Commercial inquiries can be booked at any time.

  • I need to know your final count of who is getting their makeup done (5 minimum on Saturdays), your getting ready location, and the time you need to be ready at.

If you have any other information on hand that is also helpful to have. The more information you give me up front, the faster the booking process will be.

  • If you aren’t sure on all your details yet, no need to panic!

Reach out to your photographer or wedding planner for timeline help to know when you need to be ready by, especially if you are taking any getting ready pictures. I can always help you out with timelines if you need it.

Talk to your bridesmaids and moms asap about makeup and hair. If some are undecided, leave them out of the count because I cannot reduce services after booking.

If we need to add someone or have minor tweaks I can do my best to accommodate but there is no guarantee.

  • I have a minimum of 5 OR the cost equivalent for Saturday weddings.

  • On weekdays I will do my best to respond within 48 hours. I do not respond to inquiries over the weekend because I am giving my brides my full attention.

  • Yes of course!

Wedding FAQs

  • Absolutely! However, since I book on a first come first serve basis, your date is not secured unless your contract is signed and your retainer is paid.

I recommend booking a trial as soon as you’re engaged if you’re deciding between multiple artists.

  • It is not, but I do recommend it!

I love being able to meet you, discuss your vision and learn your face beforehand. It ensures that your wedding day makeup will be even better and lets you get to know me!

  • 3-4 months in advance is always a good bet, but there are no rules!

I always have trial dates available. If you are from out of town or I am traveling a long distance to you, consider a trial for your rehearsal dinner!

  • I allow more time for a trial than on wedding days so we can have ample time to discuss and try out different looks without any rushing. This usually ends up being 90 minutes.

  • I have my own studio I take appointments at. The location will be sent to you at the time of booking.

Other FAQs

  • Venues are great to get ready at, but sometimes they don’t allow you in early enough, or they are not the ideal space (ex: dim lighting, small room).

If your venue is letting you in at 11am that’s probably not going to be enough time. Hotels, airbnbs or my studio are great alternatives.

  • To do my best work I need a space with plenty of natural light and a large table to set up on. I bring my own tall chair and handheld mirror as well as lighting if the space requires.

If there are multiple artists, then we each need our own space.

Hairstylists will also need good lighting, a table to set up on and outlets.

  • Touch up kits are included in my bridal services. These include tissues, a straw, lipstick, a powder puff, blotting paper and more! I also do touch ups before I leave just in case!

You can also hire me for concierge services so I can take care of touch ups for you and be an extra set of helping hands.

  • When you book with me I include a full booklet of helpful information for you and your girls on skin prep, inspiration photos, scheduling and other wedding pro tips I’ve learned from my 6+ years in the industry!

Preview FAQs

  • No, I prefer to use my own curated kit of products specifically formulated for longevity and customizability.

  • YES! I have a list of hairstylists and other artists I work with and can vouch for.

I have also worked with tons of vendors and I’m happy to recommend everything from wedding planners and florals to nail artists and estheticians!

  • Yes! I love going to new places! Travel is free in the Omaha area.

Travel outside of Omaha does have a $1.00/ mile round trip fee. (destination wedding travel fees may be different if flying)

Tavel farther than 2 hours with an early start time may require hotel accommodation to ensure you’re getting me at my best.

This varies and we can discuss travel more after your inquiry.

  • If you have more than 8 people wanting their makeup done, or need to be ready early in the day I may bring in a second artist. If this is you it is imperative to inquire early to ensure that both of us are available that date.
